《A Story About Me》

 

Hi! Everybody, I would like to tell you a love story of mine. Hope you all enjoy it. About 19 years ago, when I was a junior high school student, friendship, schoolwork, pop songs were all what a 14-year-old girl concerned. Living free, nothing bothering, I led a simple life.

 

It happened unconsciously that, in the campus, somehow, a boy student looked at me and I looked at him, too. That merry feeling touched me deeply in my heart, lasting for 2 or 3 minutes, and still, replayed again and again in my brain till the midnight.

 

His classroom was next to mine, one year older than me, the best student in his class, while I’m the best in mine. Whenever we received the prize from the principal, he always stood right in front of me. That’s exactly the moment I was so close to him.

 

Day after day, I often eye to eye with him somewhere in the campus. In my diary, I wrote down all the details about him, including that he liked baseball very much.

 

He is also good at composition. As long as his article was published in the school’s journal, I would cut it down and pasted it in my love story book, with my articles nearby. Before I fell asleep every night, it was him that I missed so much.

 

Boring are school days, however, with anticipation to seeing him, I really loved to go to school. One year later, he was grade 3, 2 months before the senior high school’s entrance exam was taken place, a piece of news shocked our whole school. He passed the intelligence test, and was allowed to enter Tainan first boy’s senior high school. That didn’t surprise many teachers and students, because he was always the best student in academic performance in his class, which was the best class in the same grade. Moreover, his math and physics grade were outstanding.

 

After his graduation, no more eye to eye, I still missed him and mentioned about his name in my diary. 2 years later, I heard about that, once again, he was admitted to NTU without taking the college’s entrance exam. As he becomes older and older, more and more awards fall on him. I don’t miss him as crazily as before, but I keep him in mind. Once in a while, I key in his name in the searching engine in the internet, and I find out that he is pursuing doctoral degree in America, and I see his email address. Should I send him a mail? I click on his email, hesitated for a while and give up. A few days later, I got a computer virus from someone, very soon, many of my friends got the virus mail from me, and, to my surprise, he also got one!! He replied to me and gave me a warning about the virus, willing to help me solving the problem. I was so embarrassed to make that silly mistake. Fortunately, I clean the virus and we have corresponded to each other with email everyday, for one month or so, thanks to that virus.

 

We talked a lot about the past and present condition, just like an old friend. The year before last year, my husband and I joined his wedding ceremony, and last year, he became a father. Whenever I teach my students about the computer viruses and how to prevent your computer from them, I will tell them such a love story and they really like it. Do you like my story?
